DR.AVIJIT SAHA

Dr. Avijit Saha is an accomplished physician practising at Malda,West Bengal for last
ten years.He has done his Post graduation in Internal Medicine from IPGME&R,SSKM
Hospital,Kolkata after completing MBBS from the ancient prestigious Institution of Asia,
Medical College,Calutta. He had been awarded Second certificate of Merit for
proficiency in Annual Examination in the discipline of MD General Medicine, held in
IPGME& R, Kolkata.He was awarded Fundamental Critical Care Support Certificate
(FCCS) By Society of Critical Care Medicine in 2016.He is currently working as Associate
Professor in the deptt. of General Medicine,Malda Medical College &
Hospital,Malda,WB.He is also in charge of Diabetes Clinic & Nodal officer of ART
centre,Malda Medical College.He was delegated the charge of Nodal Officer of Malda
Medical College during COVID 19 pandemic and currently actively involved in “SWASTHY
INGIT” telemedicine scheme of WEST BENGAL GOVERNMENT HEALTH DEPARTMENT.He has
many research publications in peer reviewed index journals and active reviewer of
national & international journals.He had presented original research paper & won 2nd
prize during Annual Virtual conference of DiaCare, DIACARECON,2021.Apart from his
official assignment he is practising as consultant physician & in CardioDiabetology
field.Dr. Saha’s primary motto is to serve patients with utmost care,efficiency &
sincerity.In spite of his hectic schedule,he manages to find time to improve his
knowledge & skills.
